Life is full of ups and downs. If your employer offers Mercyhealth EAP as a benefit, we can help you through difficult times.

EAP can help with a variety of concerns, including:

  • Anger management
  • Depression
  • Eldercare issues
  • Gambling
  • Grief and loss
  • Life/work balance
  • Marital or relational issues
  • Parenting support
  • Stress management
  • Substance abuse
  • Work-related issues
  • And more

How does EAP work?

If your employer offers Mercyhealth EAP, simply call one of our locations to schedule a free assessment. After your assessment, you can talk to an EAP counselor up to five times at no cost to you, if appropriate. In-person, phone and telehealth visits are available.

If additional assistance is necessary, your EAP counselor may refer you to another resource to get you the help you need. Most referrals are covered under your insurance plan.

Is it really confidential?

Yes. When you contact your EAP, your privacy is protected. All discussions with your EAP counselor are confidential. Even if your supervisor refers you to the program, Mercyhealth EAP will only release information with your written permission.
