Day treatment programs

We offer a variety of day treatment services for children and adults designed to alleviate behavioral and emotional challenges. Each program follows a coordinated treatment approach in a safe and structured setting.

Addiction day treatment for adults

The addiction day treatment program is here to help adults struggling with opiates, alcohol, cocaine, cannabis, prescription medications and other drugs.

Our three levels of care are intended for individuals who have not responded to clinic treatment or have recently been discharged from a medical detoxification program.

What is the duration of the program?

The length of time someone spends in day treatment will depend on their unique needs. Some may need a few sessions per week, while others will require less. Program staff will work with the client to create a treatment plan that will help them achieve their goals.

Mental health day treatment for children and teens

Our Child and Adolescent Day Treatment (CADT) program can guide your child and family through challenging times and toward lasting solutions. This program is offered in Janesville, Wisconsin. Telehealth visits are available in certain circumstances.

Who we help

Our typical CADT participants:

  • Are ages 5-17 with mental health concerns that affect their ability to be successful in daily life
  • May be struggling with behavioral symptoms such as impulsiveness, tantrums, aggression, social withdrawal, self-harm, anxiety, depression or an inability to concentrate
  • Have not responded to outpatient clinic-based treatment or are at risk of hospitalization

How we help

Your child will attend group sessions that focus on stress management, improving coping skills, communication, healthy boundaries and anger management. They’ll meet with a psychiatrist or nurse practitioner with specialized training in psychiatry for psychiatric management and to guide treatment planning. In addition, they’ll meet weekly with a therapist for individual counseling sessions and/or family sessions to work on meeting treatment goals.

How long will my child attend day treatment?

The length of time someone spends in day treatment will depend on their unique needs. Some may need a few sessions per week, while others will require less. Program staff will work with the client to create a treatment plan that will help them achieve their goals.

In this two-week, partial hospitalization program, patients attend five groups per day, five days per week. Sessions focus on stress management, improving coping skills, communication, healthy boundaries and anger management. Participants meet with a psychiatrist throughout their program for psychiatric management.
