The adult inpatient (hospital) program at Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center–Janesville offers 24-hour support, supervision and nursing care to help individuals through a period of unsafe psychiatric behavior.
Hospitalization should be considered if an individual has:
- Suicidal thoughts with imminent risk
- Made a suicide attempt
- Homicidal thoughts with imminent risk
- Extreme or dangerous anger outbursts
- An inability to function due to psychiatric problems
- Acute/significant withdrawal symptoms requiring medical intervention
Alcohol withdrawal management for adults
The medically monitored inpatient withdrawal management program at Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center–Janesville offers adults 24-hour support, supervision and nursing care to help individuals through withdrawal from alcohol and/or benzodiazepines.
Hospitalization should be considered if an individual has acute and/or significant withdrawal symptoms requiring medical intervention.
