At Mercyhealth Care Center, our compassionate staff focuses on providing short term-rehabilitation services and long-term care services. Mercyhealth Care Center is Medicare and Medicaid certified.
Our skilled nursing rehabilitation program focuses on treating residents after a hospitalization due to a debilitating illness or surgery and ease the transition from the hospital to the comfort of their own home or other living arrangement. Health problems like stroke, congestive heart failure, lung disease, joint replacements and hip fractures can affect the entire body. Recovering from these problems requires a whole-person approach from Mercyhealth's qualified staff specializing in IV-therapy, wound care, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy.
Our long-term care services are designed and staffed to provide an independent, home-like environment where residents can live with dignity. The 34-bed skilled nursing center has a high staff-to-resident ratio in order to ensure that we are able to get to know each resident individually and respond to their needs promptly and appropriately.
