We believe caring for our patients goes beyond doctor visits. That is why we’re proud to be a part of the Meals on Wheels program, a volunteer-run program with a strong tradition of service.
Meals on Wheels provides affordable meals for elderly or disabled individuals in their homes. The meals are made fresh in the kitchens of Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center–Janesville and Mercyhealth Hospital and Medical Center–Harvard.
The programs are overseen by Mercyhealth hospital dietary staff to ensure that meals are nutritious and varied. Volunteers deliver these meals five days a week to people living in Harvard, Illinois and Janesville, Wisconsin.
