Sports Medicine Fellowship Program, located in Rockford, Illinois, is a new fellowship to provide a wide variety of experiences to develop future sports medicine physicians. Fellows will focus on management of athletes of all ages, training, nutrition, injury management, concussions and clinical procedure. Our goal is to maximize each athlete’s performance and injury prevention.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about Mercyhealth’s sports medicine fellowship here in Rockford. This one-year ACGME-accredited fellowship program is designed to train fellows in the diagnosis and management of sports medicine injuries. You'll receive hands-on education and support from experts from a variety of backgrounds. Our program accepts two fellows every year because it’s always great to have a partner. We offer an exciting and fun program that will make you a well-rounded sports physician. It’s a unique program and I’m excited to tell you more when you interview with us.
