Upon graduation, students will have demonstrated and completed all clinical and academic competencies required for eligibility to take the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification exams in the area(s) of study.
Mercyhealth's Javon Bea Hospital School of Sonography is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Programs (CAAHEP) upon the recommendation of the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (JRC-DMS). CAAHEP is the largest programmatic accreditor in the health sciences field. In collaboration with its Committees on Accreditation, CAAHEP reviews and accredits over 2,100 educational programs in 32 health science occupations. The Javon Bea Hospital School of Sonography was accredited in November 2020 and will hold this accreditation for five years.
