Didactics

Mercyhealth Graduate Medical Education (GME) Consortium program faculty are fully committed to fostering a high-quality learning environment for residents. Family medicine didactics will occur one half day a week. It will include case-based presentation and topics of discussion. The competency-based curriculum is organized by postgraduate year. The curriculum is designed by theme of the month and family medicine pertinent topics related to the theme.

We will also conduct hands-on procedure workshops and behavioral health workshops during the academic half days. Journal club and mobility and mortality conferences will be part of the academic half days. Residents are encouraged to present their scholarly activity presentations during this time.
