Community health needs assessments helping to achieve a healthier community
Helping to improve the health and well-being of our communities is central to Mercyhealth's mission of providing exceptional health care services with a passion for making lives better. One way we do this is to partner with community organizations and health partners to develop programming to address the most pressing community needs. This work is guided by our community health needs assessments.
The assessments take into account the economic, social and environmental factors affecting our communities to help us better understand the health challenges facing individuals and families. The community health needs assessments reflect the health and well-being of area residents and provide an overview of health needs and priorities.
We are pleased to share the community health needs assessment and implementation reports for our Mercyhealth hospitals below.
Paper copies of the two most recent community needs assessments for each area are available for public inspection upon request and without charge in the administrative offices at each hospital.
