About Acceleration

Mercy Acceleration uses training regimens and equipment developed by Athletic Republic, the world leader in sport-specific training. Athletic Republic is the new name of Frappier Acceleration Sports Training. The pioneering programs and patented equipment used in Athletic Republic's training centers were developed over the preceding two decades by Athletic Republic president, John Frappier, MS, exercise physiology, and chief officer of science and technology, Steve Swanson, MS, biomechanics.

The goal of improved quickness, functional strength, sprint speed, biomechanics and confidence are accomplished through four training regimens:

  • Treadmill running
  • Plyometrics
  • Strength training
  • Sprint cord application

Included in the individualized and supervised training are:

  • Pre- and post-assessments for strength, agility, vertical jump and standing long jump
  • Video analysis of sport technique
  • 12 treadmill sessions
  • 8 plyometric sessions
  • 10 weeks of strength training
