Karla is committed to helping individuals become more confident and self-reliant with dignity, respect and compassion.
With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, Karla works primarily with children and teens who have challenges with depression, anxiety, trauma, behavior, lack of focus, and anger. Karla has completed several workshops in trauma and EMDR and has a particular interest in helping kids with trauma and attachment difficulties. She enjoys working with children and their families as well as groups. Karla uses cognitive behavioral, experiential, play, and family therapies as she helps families build up their strengths and relationships.
